Group-Workshop 〰️

Our 2-day workshop combines the best of both wet felting and needle felting, offering a versatile and creative introduction to felt-making. In a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere, you will learn how to work with natural wool using water, soap, and felting needles to create both strong base forms and detailed surfaces.

You’ll discover how wet felting can be used to build shapes and textures, while needle felting allows you to refine details, add depth, and personalize your piece. Step by step, you’ll create a unique felted object that brings together structure and fine craftsmanship. No prior experience is needed—this workshop is perfect for anyone curious to explore the full creative potential of felting.

Eco-Museum, Corvo Island, Azores

From March 25–26, 2026, Angélique Verdel, in collaboration with the Ecomuseum Corvo, led a workshop on the small island of Corvo (Azores) that combined wet felting and needle felting. The island has a long sheep‑farming tradition: about 600 sheep now live free in the Caldeirão crater. In the past, the roughly 400 residents yearly celebrated “Wool Day.” Ten participants learned alongside Angélique, owner of Azoreswool, how to create felt flowers and Easter decorations.
