About the Art.

Each piece is handmade by artist Angelique Verdel using traditional felting techniques and 100% Azores wool. The work reflects the natural landscape, textures, and spirit of the Azores and is created with great care and attention to detail.
All products are made from natural sheep’s wool, some pieces contain e.g. items like pipe cleaner or wooden pearls.
Much of her art can be used as toys for children, especially felted animals. Pieces with small parts like beads or wooden pieces are not suitable as toys.
Yes. The wool comes from sheep raised in the Azores and is processed locally as much as possible. If I don’t have enough wool, I sometimes buy some more, but I always make sure that the wool is certified according to eco-standards.
Yes. Angelique works with natural materials, traditional techniques, and small-scale production, with respect for the environment and local resources.

Felt items should be treated gently. Air them regularly and keep them dry. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
No, the items can’t be washed. Don’t use brushes to clean the art.
Heavy use (for example, from toys) can slightly change the shape of a felted item. Other items will keep their shape for many years.
JYes. The felt is durable and made to be used, not just admired.
The products are made from pure wool. If you have a known wool allergy or very sensitive skin, please consider this before purchasing.

Yes. All listed items are finished pieces and ready to ship unless stated otherwise.
Because each piece is unique, exact replicas are not possible. However, similar pieces may be created upon request.
Yes. Angelique accepts custom commissions based on your ideas, preferences, and intended use. Use our contact form or send her a message for requests.
Production time depends on the size and complexity of the piece. You will receive an estimated timeframe and price before confirming your order.

Yes, for unused standard items within the stated return period of 14 days. Returns are accepted as long as the item is returned in its original condition.
Custom and commissioned pieces are generally non-returnable, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Please contact us immediately with photos of the damage. We will find a solution as quickly as possible.

Selected pieces are available in shops mentioned on our webpage and directly from the artist.
Yes. Since all pieces are unique, the selection may vary between shops and the online store.

Angelique offers workshops in wet felting and needle felting.
Wet felting uses water, soap, and movement to bind fibers, while needle felting shapes wool using special felting needles.
Workshops are suitable for beginners as well as more experienced participants.
Workshop duration varies depending on the topic and format. Details are provided with each workshop.
Yes. All necessary materials are included.
Workshops take place on Faial Island, Azores. Exact locations are announced in advance. On request Angélique can organize workshops at other place too.
